Meet Christine

Christine L'Abbé is a dedicated educator, researcher, and practitioner whose work focuses on empowering children with developmental differences, neurodivergence, disability, and medical complexity, alongside the families and caregivers who support them. As the founder of Evolve Movement, Christine integrates her professional expertise with her profound lived experience as the mother of a teenage daughter living with atypical Rett syndrome. This unique dual perspective drives her commitment to fostering deeper, more relational approaches to care.

With over a decade of hands-on experience, Christine specializes in the Anat Baniel Method® NeuroMovement®, a holistic approach that supports brain plasticity and functional growth. Her professional practice is informed by advanced academic study, holding a Master of Education (M.Ed.) and currently pursuing doctoral research in Rehabilitation Sciences and health professions education. This background allows her to bridge the gap between clinical theory and the realities of daily life for families navigating complex medical and developmental landscapes.

Christine’s work as a family and caregiver coach, as well as a transformational and conscious parenting coach, is grounded in a deep curiosity about how children learn, communicate, and express their authentic selves. She is a passionate advocate for shifting the narrative in caregiving; she believes that meaningful, sustainable change begins with how we meet the person in front of us—approaching each interaction with curiosity, awareness, respect, and an openness to possibility. By examining how the ways adults see, understand, and respond to children shape their experiences and developmental trajectory, Christine helps caregivers cultivate environments where both the child and the family can thrive.

Through her platforms—including her practice, speaking engagements, and educational initiatives—Christine strives to advance relational care and elevate the caregiver experience, ensuring that families feel supported, seen, and empowered as they navigate their unique journeys.
