I’m Lorraine Driscoll. As a former teacher and a mom of a daughter who is recovered from a neuro-immune condition, PANDAS/PANS – I understand both the mainstream system AND the frustrations of parents of uniquely-wired children.

As a teacher, it didn’t take long for my enthusiasm to dwindle. I watched kids graduate grade 8 who after years of having an IEP and doing various interventions still read at a grade 2 reading level and were working way too hard to learn. They fell further behind their peers each year and their self-esteem was eroded. 

Then my daughter started to struggle and had multiple diagnoses. All the ‘solutions’ were band-aid approaches that left us feeling burnt out. Watching my child struggle with daily life left me feeling helpless. It seemed no matter what I did, my daughter and students were only able to make tiny improvements - they just never could flow through life with ease like other kids.

I knew there had to be a root cause that Western medicine was missing. These kids weren’t failing – we were failing these kids. My desperation became my MISSION to find out how I could help them rise to their full potential.

I retrained in various therapies and was blown away to learn that so much of what I learned in teacher training was outdated. Learning Difficulties like dyslexia, dysgraphia and slow processing don’t have to be permanent. Decades of research had shown that specific areas of the brain were weak, imbalanced or underdeveloped and that once these areas were stimulated and strengthened, these kids could not only overcome their challenges – they still maintained their uniquely-wired zones of genius. 

This was in total alignment with my beliefs that these kids weren’t broken – they just had a block that was preventing their gifts from fully shining. Now I’m on a mission. That’s why I work with parents and their children both 1:1 and in my program, The Full Potential Academy where we use nutrition, detoxification and gut healing to balance brain chemistry and functional neurology (movements, brain stimulations, cognitive therapies and neuro-technologies) to optimize brain function.

I am passionate about helping kids overcome challenges related to learning and self-regulation. Decades of neuroscience has shown the brain has an incredible ability to heal and change. It can build new connections and neurons right into our 80’s!

My mission is to help kids rise to the highest version of themselves; to be who they are meant to be in all their uniqueness. My goal is not to change your child so they fit into a box but to optimize their brain so they can live their best life.

Helping your uniquely-wired child rise to their full potential should not feel like a climb up Mt. Everest. It’s all about accessing the body and brain’s ability to regulate, heal, grow and move beyond apparent limitations.
